Deepak Kumar Mallick, Founder Every entrepreneurial venture starts with a dream, evolves with a bunch of amazing ideas, and with great passion & grit, ends up as a successful business. This exactly replicates the story of Er. Deepak Kumar Mallick, an IIT Kharagpur graduate having honours degree in civil engineering and a seasoned civil engineer who had a large part of his professional stints with Tata Consulting Engineers (TCE) and IL&FS. Having worked almost for six years and having garnered immense experience with working on both national & international funded projects, what always kept on hitting him was the long-seen desire to set up his own engineering consultancy firm. And as it is said, no force can stop you from achieving what you desire Deepak in order fulfill his dream returned to his home-state Odisha, Bhubaneswar to make it happen.
Explicating on the inception story, Er. Deepak Kumar Mallick, Founder, IDAX Consulting & Research Pvt. Ltd. says,“I began from my drawing room with just a laptop, a single printer and a broadband connection. Then pretty soon I started visiting some of the established consultants in the region and tried some small designing jobs on subletting for them. Within a year I was able to provide the best solutions and make customer satisfied. But what actually caught my attention was the quality aspect that lagged in many. This prompted me to bridge the underlying gap and thus, I decided to set up my own firm and deliver efficient, yet effective services. Hence, IDAX was established in 2010.”
