CIO Vendor Manish Kumar Baheti, an hotelier started his professional stints with one of the leading names in the hotel industry, The Oberoi Group as a management trainee and went on to be a General Manager. During his tenure as a GM, Manish felt that though the country’s hospitality sector binds the philosophy –'Athiti Devo Bhava' but in respect to this the sector remained highly fragmented. He felt that there was a need to start something unique and that’s where he decided to start a boutique heritage hotel. Leaving his lucrative job in 2006, he wanted to covert his inherited home stationed in Rajasthan, to 19 a rooms’ boutique hotel and start his own chain of hotels. But the project had to be shelved due to the global recession in the year 2008. The bank which was supposed to provide the loan backed out. The entire project then was under Haute Services, which already had a presence in the hospitality consulting. Their first break came with their first turnkey project – The Seasons Hotel at Tarudhan Valley. The success and appreciation egged them on to establish a full fledged consultancy firm .

Thus Haute Services started in 2009, founded by two dynamic professionals with over three decades of cumulative experiences with some of the most prestigious names in the hospitality industry, Haute Services stands to be a professional organization guided by the mission to achieve superlative results in the most pragmatic environment. Speaking on the inception journey, Manish Kumar Baheti, Managing Director, Haute Services, says, “Though India’s hospitality industry was experiencing an unprecedented boom , the sector was not able to transform itself into an organized segment. We at Haute Services aim to add value by delivering cost effective services with the highest level of professionalism to the unorganised sector whether budget or luxury.”

Gurgaon based Haute Services strives to be a platform for training & recruitment. Manish sharing his personal experiences, mentions, “While I was working in Oberoi Bhubaneswar, I used to be on the board of IHM Bhubaneswar. I suggested them to use the ideal capacity of IHM to train 10th & 12th standards dropouts with some vocational training so that they can find a better job &which in return boosts the standards of the industry.” The company leverages training in the areas of effective communicational skills, customer service levels, better performance through motivation & others facilitating improvements in standards & overall performances.

Ever since creating its first hotel brand for Seasons Catering : The Seasons Hotel at Tarudhan Valley Hotel & Golf Resort, Haute Services has also provided consultancy services in operations & marketing to notable clientele such as Usha Shriram Hotels, Sinclair Hotels, Four Seasons Damascus, Urban Cafe Chain & many others. One of its clients, Zerruco has been top rated as the best Mediterranean restaurant in Delhi.With a team of 7 people, it has extended its service base to Ooty, Darjeeling, Andaman & Nicobar Island. Haute Services also organizes various Art Shows & Events across hotels. Poised to work with one of the biggest names in India, Manish concludes, “Currently, we are looking for private equity funding to expand rapidly. In coming years we will be working towards adding value to the ever changing landscape of the industry.”
