Samsung said on Wednesday that its Neo QLED and OLED TV businesses in India, which are driven by artificial intelligence (AI), are expected to generate revenue of Rs 10,000 crore. With the release of AI TVs this year, Samsung hopes to further solidify its dominant position. As of the end of 2023, the business held a 21% volume market share.

Senior VP of Samsung India's Visual Display Business Mohandeep Singh stated, "For the first time, we have a very clear twin strategy on premium, the highest or largest range as far as the consumer is concerned and with that, we are also looking at targeting unprecedented Rs 10,000 crore revenue in 2024."

India's television market has been sluggish; according to Counterpoint Research, shipments fell 16 percent in the previous year. Samsung, however, is upbeat about the TV industry in 2024 because to rising MZ consumer demand for high-end TVs.

Analysts claim that no TV brand in the nation has ever hit the Rs 10,000 crore revenue mark. To further solidify its position as the industry leader in TV sales, Samsung has introduced its ultra-premium Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, and OLED TVs in the nation.

The business claims that its new line of high-end TVs is intended to enhance customers' enjoyment at home with robust, AI-powered features.
