Internet users are baffled by a message implying that the popular biscuit company Parle-G, which has been around since 1938, is developing a "Dark Parle-G" variation. The 'Dark Parle-G' variation photo that a netizen shared on X (previously Twitter) appears to have originated from their creative imagination. The social media frenzy that resulted from people envisioning their favorite childhood biscuit in a new avatar peaked.
Neither Parle Products' official confirmation nor the company's official website include any reference to Dark Parle-G.
The social media website included a section speculating that the image may have been created by AI. That did not, however, stop online users from leaving comments about their nostalgic childhood biscuits. From simple online conjectures, users even started discussing what they thought their favorite biscuit may taste like.
According to a June 2020 report, Parle-G pulled off the extraordinary achievement of selling the most number of biscuits nationwide during the COVID-19 shutdown. The parent business, Parle Products, said that the company had its greatest months in eight decades in March, April, and May 2020, although not wanting to provide exact sales figures.
According to accounts, during the COVID-19 lockdown period, the nation saw an extraordinary spike in biscuit sales as individuals stocked up on basic and easy-to-make food products.
According to reports, the corporation made sure that products were available at retail stores throughout the lockout by restocking its delivery routes in less than seven days.
Some NGOs also purchased large quantities of Parle-G, and some state governments commandeered the firm for cookies. Production was resumed by the corporation on March 25.
