The founding story of HR India Solutions is one of motivation and audacity. Anil Das working as an HR professional sensed a gap between commitment and delivery in the HR vendor supply chain side during his employment days. Not that all were bad but one of the significant lacking aspects among the HR Vendor’s was HR Functional understanding and expertise. Realizing this crunch, Anil made up his mind to start his own venture with an aim to provide scalable and professional solutions to the HR functions within enterprises. Thus, HR India Solutions came into being in 2009. “Moving out of the comfort zone at a time when I was doing great professionally was not an easy decision to make. The decision to be on my own was not so sudden but it was brewing within me right from my college days at XISS. For any genesis to happen the development has to be first internal and then external. So the first step for me was to develop myself in terms of knowledge and experience and definitely have my finances in place”, avers Anil.
Speaking of the initial days, Anil explains, “The first challenge a first generation entrepreneur faces is overcoming the mindset from being an employee to an employer. Once one overcomes this phase the immediate challenge is organizing funds to support the business plan. Having come from a non-business family, we always had resource crunch. Managing the same along with building a performing team was the next challenge.
Business was never a challenge as I was known in the HR Fraternity. Delivering it with the utmost degree of professionalism and value-add to the customer was the next challenge. Soon, with constant hard work and devotion, we were successful in carving a niche for ourselves by delivering quality and consistent solutions in the HR domain”.
