And, while some people some how manage to book a property, the fear of getting cheated and manipulated always leads them to insecurities as the financial stakes involved are too high. Never the less, the real estate sector has always faced such trust deficits, primarily due to the lack of transparency, absence of regularity framework and bureaucratic delays in approvals from multiple authorities. This lack of transparency and inability to source accurate information puts the buyer in a detrimental position, making them unable to take informed decisions, resulting in a perception that is marred by delayed construction and stalled projects. Preethi Naveen and Naveen Menon V. became conscious about these creases in the real estate sector and in a bid to iron these out they established SPEC Management Solutions (SMS), an advisory company for real estate advisory, property management. Naveen’s inspiration has been Padmashree M A Yusuff Ali with whom he had the opportunity to work in Lulu International, UAE for the period of 2006-11 in the property management division.

Just like all other start ups, SPEC too had to go through difficulties during its initial period, especially pertaining to its establishment been in Kerala. “Property advisory concept was not common for the people of Kerala. The primary challenge for us during the development of our entity was to make people understand how an advisory is helpful in this field. We realized there are several gaps in the advisory front”, explains Naveen.
It took team SPEC almost a year to secure their position in the market by winning the confidence of the clients. Gradually after which clients started approaching them regarding advice on sales and marketing as well. This is how they moved on with their venture.

Set up in 2013, SPEC was rolled out with a key objective to make the real estate scenario in India more transparent. In 2015 they were been Endowed as one of the fastest growing company jointly by IEDRA & International Achievers Conference in Delhi, Adding to these objectives, the company now offers end-to-end solution in areas of real-estate, retail and property management along with extensive hands on consulting experience in marketing, investment, interior designing, lighting consultant and landscaping management.

Narrating the future plan of the company Preethi says, “We are very simple and we are continuously striving to develop the best for our clients. At present we are focusing on our own project under the name of “PK Infra & Projects” and our main aim is to first move ahead with the projects that we have started in 2016.
