Elucidating the inception story Rakesh Vyas, Director of Geo Planet Solution says, “I am primarily a Geologist who received training at the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing and worked as a scientist in South Africa until 2016. In Sudan and Liberia, I have discovered four separate gold prospects, and mining is already underway. Finally, in 2016, my partner Jitendra Dixit and I decided to start our own company, and we founded Geo Planet Solution in Jaipur. Our first project was with an NGO working with World Bank which was about Agricultural Competitiveness Planning and Groundwater Management Planning.”

Geo Planet Solutions is currently surveying in Mizoram using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), as well as a soil sampling project to determine land suitability for crop cultivation. In the coming months, the Geo Planet Solutions team will be working on a project in Ladakh with the DRDO, where they will be addressing the flood problems that may arise as a result of the Glacial Lakes Outburst. Apart from that, Geo Planet Solutions will study solar systems to determine their bathymetric assessment.
Some of the prominent clients with whom Geo Planet Solutions have worked since its inception are NABARD, CK Birla Group, Fortis and many more. Furthermore, Rakesh adds, “We have already begun working on the lines for plans, we are bringing hydroponic systems into the vacuity, and we are constantly innovating proof of study concepts for the Rajasthan Forest Department. We are providing image-based object analysis solutions for the forest department for the first time in the world. Geo Planet Solutions has launched this approach to track the purpose of plantation sites for the entire state of Rajasthan. Aside from that, we're working on developing machine learning algorithm-based services and will be testing UAV capabilities in Ladakh at around 6200 meters.”
