Fipkart Ventures, the corporate venture fund of e-commerce firm Flipkart, said on Monday that submissions for the third cohort of the Flipkart Leap Ahead accelerator program are now being accepted. Applications for the early-stage tech startup accelerator are being accepted from April 22, 2024, through May 26, 2024.

Startups who incorporate GenAI into their core products across sectors will get equity money ranging from $200,000 to $500,000, as well as mentoring to assist them in developing scalable architecture, building strong teams, and achieving product-market fit, according to a statement from the business.

On the two-month mentoring program, firms will showcase their ideas and accomplishments to potential investors on a demo day with the aim of obtaining further funding for their expansion.

During the third cohort's debut, Lubna Ahmed, Head of Flipkart Ventures, stated that the accelerator program provides selected entrepreneurs with "significant financial investment and, more importantly, opportunities for invaluable mentorship." To support their expansion, we are excited to provide the newest wave of innovation.

In the previous two cohorts, over fifteen companies operating in the domains of deep tech, fintech, health tech, generative AI, and sustainability have raised financing. Some of the companies that received further money from the first and earlier rounds were Dopplr, RightBot, LivWell, Tune.ai, and FlexifyMe.

India-based early-stage (Seed to Series A) technology companies are welcome to apply for the programme. Deeptech, mobility & logistics, GenAI, healthtech, SaaS, B2B marketplaces, fintech (B2B & B2C), mobility & logistics, healthtech, and climate & sustainability are some of the industries in which these businesses may operate.
