SOA University has signed an agreement with Batoi Systems (Batoi), a Bhubaneswar-based firm, to promote collaboration for the discovery and advancement of skills in information technology (IT).

Batoi is a software engineering automation firm that uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) framework to build and deploy telemetry products.

According to the agreement, Batoi will grant SOA access to its academy platform and assist in the establishment of a technological lab for education and research in artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum computing.

The organization will offer practical training sessions and actual projects for SOA students in order to bridge the skill gap and prepare them for the workforce. It will also organize IT-based seminars, conferences, and workshops on mutually relevant issues.

"We will consider SOA students for internships and employment, in addition to offering collaboration in the area of quantum computing education and research," stated Batoi Systems' director and CEO, Ashwini Kumar Rath.

On the other hand, SOA will establish a single point of contact to coordinate research and curricular programs, offer cooperation in the implementation of the Batoi entrepreneurial and institutional partnership (EIP) initiative, assist in the establishment of the technology lab, and collaborate on joint ventures in various disciplines.

Prof Pradipta Kumar Nanda, the vice-chancellor of SOA, and Batoi CEO signed the agreement of collaboration. Prof Prasanta Kumar Panigrahi, Director of SOA's Centre for Quantum Science and Technology, and Pramod Kumar Panda, SOA's Chief Administrative Officer, were present.
