Realme is gearing up to unveil its latest flagship, the Realme 12 Pro series, in India today at noon, consisting of two models—the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+. The phones will be accessible through Realme's official website and Flipkart, with an early access sale scheduled from 6-10 PM today.

A notable feature of the Realme 12 Pro+ is its flagship periscope telephoto lens, offering a 3X periscope telephoto lens that was previously exclusive to flagship devices from major brands like Samsung, Google, and Apple. This lens boasts an impressive 120X SuperZoom capability, while the primary lens is equipped with a Sony IMX890 sensor.

Realme has collaborated with Ollivier Savéo, an international luxury watch design expert, to infuse a "luxury watch design" into the Realme 12 Pro Series 5G. The camera island will showcase a "polished sunburst dial" and a vegan leather finish on the back.

The launch event promises to highlight the smartphones' powerful capabilities, with the company planning to live-stream the event on its social media channels. The Realme 12 Pro+'s periscope zoom camera is powered by a 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor, notable for its substantial 1/2-inch size. Realme emphasizes that this sensor surpasses the 3x zoom cameras in the iPhone 15 Pro (12MP) and the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (10MP) by more than 2.6 times in size, facilitating over 1.8 times the light intake.
