It was previously reported that the new ChatGPT capabilities will directly compete with Google's search engine. But according to OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, the new feature is not a search engine, thus he has refuted the rumors. He went so far as to deny that GPT-5 will be released at today's event.

Anticipations for OpenAI?

Start time for the OpenAI event is 10 a.m. PT (10:30 p.m. IST). According to Sam Altman, there will be some magical things unveiled at the occasion.  He did not provide any additional information.
