Breaking through the conventions of traditional media, the Elon Musk-led X introduced 'Articles' on Friday, a new way for users to share long-form content on the platform.

Subscribers of X services that are premium now get to create and publish articles with styled text, embedded photos, and videos.

A corporate statement claims that Articles is a brand-new way for long-form written material on X to be shared. Global access to this feature is restricted to Verified Organizations and Premium+ subscribers only.

Aside from text, articles can also include postings, links, GIFs, photos, and videos. Users may format text using a variety of styles, including bold, italics, strikethrough, headings, subheadings, indentation, numbers, and bulleted lists.

The business stated, "Once published, an article can be read and shared by anyone on X based on the audience controls you've chosen for the article."

Users may construct an article by going to the Articles tab in the x.com side menu, clicking "write," and then publishing it when they're done.

The article that has been published will be available on the user's profile under the Articles tab. Notably, the social media platform notes that users have the ability to make modifications after the piece is published and even remove it entirely.
