The CEO and managing director of Infosys, Salil Parekh, has become a board member of the US India Strategic and Partnership Forum. Parekh has led successful acquisitions and turnarounds with almost three decades of experience in the IT services sector.

As CEO of Infosys, he sets the strategic direction of one of the biggest IT companies in India and develops a capable team to carry it out.

Salil's recent appointment to the USISPF Board highlights the triumph of Indian IT behemoths operating in the US years at a time. India's largest export to the US is IT services, and one of the country's most well-known brands is Infosys, according to USISPF president and CEO Mukesh Aghi.

Infosys' success in the US is a testament to the growing synergy in tech ties and how India's robust tech talent plays an integral part in strengthening and growing the tech sector in the US- Aghi stated in an era of digital trade and economy.

According to USISPF Chairman John Chambers, Salil and Infosys' engagement on the USISPF Board would help construct a key dependency for the two economies by consolidating digital trade, ultimately positioning India as a global innovation partner, which is the organization's main objective.

"I'm delighted to welcome Salil, a leader with a strong track record in the IT industry, to the USISPF Board. Infosys has had a significant influence on the American technology industry, and the firm will play a crucial role in India's almost $200 billion software exports in 2023, according to Chambers.
