Air India is Planning a Nonstop Flight from Delhi to Phuket

Bangalore, November 25, 2023:  Air India, India's foremost global airline, will begin nonstop service between Delhi and Phuket, Thailand's popular island destination, on December 15, 2023. The service will address the demand for a convenient air link between the two cities for tourism and trade, while also supporting the airline's objectives for further expansion in the Far East and SouthEast Asia.

AI 378 will depart from Delhi at 0110 hrs and arrive in Phuket at 0710 hrs, using an A320neo aircraft with 162 seats (150 in Economy and 12 in Business Class). The return flight, AI 379, will depart Phuket at 0810 hrs and arrive in Delhi at 1050 hrs (all times are local). Beginning with four flights per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays), the service will be expanded to daily operation in January 2024.

Air India now operates 26 flights per week to Bangkok, including daily nonstop flights from Delhi and Mumbai and six flights per week from Kolkata. Furthermore, Air India passengers can take advantage of seamless connections via Bangkok to and from 10 popular destinations in Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia on the Bangkok Airways network, with which Air India has an interline agreement.

Flight reservations will be available today across all channels, including Air India's website (www.airindia.com), mobile app, and travel agencies (including online travel agents).
