“I worked for Tata Steel in the areas of Production, Process Control, and Quality Control. However it was only after successfully implementing and achieving the Quality System Certificate, I realized the industrial gap. I requested a transfer from Mines to City Jamshedpur or Kolkata but that didn’t happen. This was the time my wife said why not we be on our own and start a Quality Systems, Consulting and Training firm based on my hands-on experience in implementation,” says Srinivas Rao, Founder and CEO, RTQMS.
Started with ISO 9001, in the first year itself RTQMS provided services to about eight companies of Medium and Large size which were successfully ISO certified.
