One of Asia's biggest integrated learning, skilling, and workforce development organizations, upGrad, is powering the Executive Post-Graduate Certificate program in Cloud and DevOps that the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-B) has launched as part of its academic portfolio expansion. This ground-breaking online course represents a major advancement, establishing itself as the first of its type to provide comprehensive treatment of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) services, including topics covered in AWS and Azure examinations.

Industry projections indicate that by 2028, more than half of businesses would have implemented industry Cloud platforms to accelerate their commercial endeavors. This underscores the Cloud's transformation from a disruptive technology to a necessary tool for businesses. Nonetheless, more than 19% of recruiters report having trouble locating seasoned DevOps specialists. Interestingly, data show that DevOps-practicing organizations deliver code 46 times more frequently and have a 96 percent success rate greater than those using conventional development approaches.

The course offers a comprehensive overview of several cloud platforms with a particular emphasis on advanced concepts like DevSecOps and SynOps as well as DevOps principles. In order to prepare students for tasks that demand building and managing web applications in cloud settings, learners will be able to deploy web apps during each session and receive comprehensive hands-on training.

Learners will gain fundamental DevOps skills including infrastructure as code (IaC), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) during more than 50 live training sessions. Along with these skills, they will learn how to create scalable microservices architectures, put strong monitoring and logging in place, and use AI tools for process automation, code analysis, and security improvement. It will be a holistic learning experience as students will also get the chance to receive extra hands-on training to help them prepare for the AWS Academy Cloud Foundations, Azure Fundamentals, and AZ-104 certification examinations.
