With its initial projects, the Tamil Nadu-based co-living firm Truliv has entered Bengaluru, focusing on micromarkets in the Hebbal and Whitefield areas.

In Bengaluru, the company is pursuing a cluster-based expansion strategy with the goal of launching with 1,000 beds as part of its portfolio expansion.

Truliv intends to expand its capacity in the city to 2,500 beds by adding 1,500 more over the course of the following 18 months. "With a cluster-based approach at the heart of our growth strategy, we can create vibrant communities in strategic commercial districts while maintaining operational effectiveness and first-rate service delivery. We want to establish a standard for living experiences and expand our model throughout the city by utilizing our expertise in co-living and BTS (build-to-suit), which will spur sustainable growth and innovation in the industry," stated Rohit Reddy, cofounder and CEO of Truliv.

With more than 3,000 beds now in operation in Chennai, Truliv hopes to duplicate its success in other significant cities like Pune, Hyderabad, and Gurugram. The company is already Ebitda positive, which distinguishes it in the co-living market, and it anticipates making Rs 32 crore by the end of this fiscal year.

Truliv's business strategy allows for flexibility and scalability by fusing traditional leasing with BTS properties. The company intends to broaden its offerings to serve a wider range of consumer segments in the future, having initially concentrated on working professionals.

Truliv is a division of DRA Homes that was established in 2019 by Rohit Reddy and Ranjeeth Rathod. The startup serves students, working professionals, and other groups around India by providing creative housing and community solutions. Truliv is positioned to emerge as one of the top co-living providers in India because to its ambitious expansion plans.
