The financial year 2018-19 was a volatile year for the Road Transportation Sector, this was due to challenges faced with the adaptation to the new GST Rules and further in catering to the specific demands of clients to help them in their compliance to the laws and changing business needs. The Road sector did a commendable work to position themselves to the new related changes.

Lining-up to the current needs, the industry was working on Operation Processes and System Development changes to meet the market requirement. Post GST, the Indian Manufacturing Business witnessed a change in storage and transportation models. Major manufacturing sectors did re-positioning of their mother warehouses and remodeled their transportation routes, in order to make their operation more cost effective. To meet the competition, the Road Transportation Sector and companies like ours have transformed their process to provide rapid connections between all important cities in India to enable efficiency and give wings to the clients’ growth and market reach. These steps have helped companies like us to shape the business and the experience of the market.

The main focus for leading companies of road sector has become to create substantial value for their customers and broader economy. That kind of value creations and focus, for last five decades has helped organizations like us to expand and to become a reputed name when it comes to Road Transport.

The industry is also trying to improve efficiency by way of undergoing digital transformation and automation. Now, the focus is on to provide client with accurate tracking and delivery status. The new challenge of E-Way Bill related updation & management are handled efficiently with modern digital & IT solution, which companies like us had foreseen and updated in time. The few organized companies, looking at the current requirement have gone through the digital transformation to stay competitive. It helps to be committed to help customers to go through the processes, which is necessary for business and GST E-Way Bill procedure requirement.

To optimize the service level, the frequency of services in all major routes has been increased. The Road Transportation Sector is an important feature for growth of Indian Economy and this is because of the reach it provides compared to the more incumbent Rail & Air Cargo Sector in India. This Sector due to traditional history and superior knowledge of Indian requirements and ability to work with focus on local & regional requirement have done good. It is also has equipped itself to facilitate cost efficient and fast services. Every location has its own unique feature, character & requirement, which a road transport company understands well and is able to give competitive services as per client requirement. This is one reason our company has an All India presence and is one among the leading players in Road sector in providing efficient and cost effective services to East-North-East India, Nepal and Bhutan, where the challenges are more local specific and we have the expertise to cope with the related issues well.

However, there are still lots of real challenges which the Road Transportation Sector needs to address. To improve efficiency there is a need of updated automation in Cargo handling. The infrastructure, staff caliber development in general is a matter which has to be improved for future point of view.

To sum-up, in today’s World, there is no way for traditional way of doing business. In the Road Transportation sector, the future belongs to fully automated, digital and much efficient way & process to meet client needs and to provide prompt & safe services at lower operating cost.
