He added that more than 140 systems have been connected and that 2.7 lakh Vistara passenger reservations have been transferred to Air India during a special media conference.
In addition, almost 4.5 million Vistara loyalty members have already switched to the Air India system.
"The Air India systems, which are the ones that customers would use, are at a different level technologically. In other aspects, like as aircraft and services, the Vistara experience would be identical. We will combine the finest features of both airlines," Ramaswamy stated.
The in-flight experience and Vistara routes and timetable will remain in place, according to Air India's announcement last week. Flights using Vistara aircraft would be designated 'AI2' after the merger.
