Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal noted on Tuesday that there are numerous prospects in India for French companies, including manufacturing and infrastructure.
"In India, there is a vast delta of opportunity," Goyal said at the India French Business Summit in Paris.
According to the minister, France is India's preferred partner in terms of military, economy, and investment.
According to Goyal, as indigenous manufacturing is promoted, India is attracting foreign investment and technology in the defence sector.
"Exports of goods and services are up more than 50%, and we hope to keep this up." "We intend to treble our exports of goods and services from $765 billion to $2 trillion by 2030," Goyal added.
He also noted that the Indian economy, which is currently worth $3.5 trillion, is likely to increase to $35 trillion in the next 25 years.
