According to a blog, Paytm, whose payments bank initiative is under regulatory scrutiny, is hiring for a variety of roles in both product and business divisions. Recruitment partners are reporting tremendous interest from the nation's best talent in joining Paytm, according to a blog post on the company's website.

Paytm's recruitment partner Page Group stated that the company is currently looking for business and product roles.

"For the Paytm company, we have been sourcing top personnel for a time now, and we anticipate that this trend will continue. Ankit Agarwala, MD of PageGroup, stated on the blog, "We are actively hiring people for product and business roles at Paytm, and there continues to be strong interest from quality candidates for these roles."

Restrictions placed by the Reserve Bank of India on its associate firm Paytm Payments Bank Limited (PPBL), which houses wallet and UPI services offered through the Paytm app, have put the company in a precarious situation. On January 31, the central bank gave instructions to cease taking deposits or top-ups in any client wallets, FASTTags, accounts, or other devices after February 29.

"Paytmers are unified and have banded together. In fact, top talent in the nation is still showing a lot of interest in joining team Paytm and contributing significantly to the transformation of India's digital landscape,” as per Paytm's blog post.

Paytm is Estimated to have around 30,000 Employees

"At Paytm, our dedication to innovation, quality, and our team doesn't waver. Our faith in the promising future that lies ahead is strengthened by the confidence and energy of our coworkers as well as the acknowledgement from the IT and recruitment communities," the blog stated.

Paytm's recruitment ally EMA Partners India, senior partner of technology, banking, and financial services Reet Bhambhani, claimed that due to its inventive, pioneering, and agile nature, Paytm has consistently drawn top talent from throughout the nation.

"We continue to see high traction for leadership roles at Paytm across engineering, business, and product streams," Reet stated.
