Tech guru Vivek Zakarde is now the General Manager of IT at IDBI Bank, where he will also be in charge of analytics. He will take charge of IDBI Bank's data analytics initiatives in this capacity and be a crucial member of the senior management group. Prior to working at IDBI Bank, Zakarde was Senior Vice-President and Chief Data Officer at IndusInd Bank. He has a wealth of knowledge in the fields of Data Science, Data Engineering, Analytics, Business Intelligence, Blockchain, and Machine Learning (ML).

Zakarde has previously held the position of Head of Data Engineering, Data Science, and BI at renowned technology companies such as India Infoline Group, Reliance General Insurance Ltd, EXL Services, and WNS. Additionally, he has amassed valuable global experience with enterprises such as British Gas (UK), Ford Motors (US), Suncorp Bank (Australia), and TORM Shipping (Denmark).

"My passion lies in assembling and leading high-performing teams to drive data-driven improvements in products, services, and business processes. I intend to position data analytics as the core of the organization, facilitating the shift towards digitization and AI adoption.
