IBEX India 2019 all set to bridge banks with technologies once again

Powered by digitization,the Indian banking sector is undergoing a paradigm shift as it forges ahead. In an economy where 97% of retail transactions see cash changing hands, innovations are now driving and defining the competitive spirit in banks. IBEX India is India's only national-level Trade Fair for the BFSI sector with its platforms of Technoviti, Finnoviti, NBFC Conclave and Cooperative Banking Conclave. For banks, it is an ideal platform to experience cutting-edge future technologies at work and benchmark them for adaption.

 

Any innovation brought into the industry has strong technology implications. Endorsed and supported by over 20 nationalised and private banks, IBEX India 2019, has the unanimous buy-in from the industry, in addition to the support from Industry associations.

 

Officials from Reserve Bank of India, nationalised banks, private banks, cooperative banks, regional rural  banks,foreign banks and, financial institutions/ NBFCs/ insurance companies/ gold loan companies are expected to visit IBEX India 2019. There are over 100 exhibitors participating in the exhibition, which is a vital part of the event.

 

IBEX India 2019 will see the presence of senior members of the banking fraternity participating in stimulating discussions along with representatives of leading technology companies. There will be a conference with a theme 'Hello Hybrid – Innovations for the Experiential World', co-organised with Banking Frontiers, featuring an impressive panel of banking professionals. Concurrent Events Technoviti and Finnoviti Awards will be produced and executed by Team Banking Frontiers and its video platform FinBizness.

 

The Technoviti awards will introduce top 20 innovative technologies of the year and Finnoviti awards will recognise the top 20 innovators from the BFSI sector. In addition, there will be market access programs for fintechs with the BFSI fraternity and interesting focused sessions on NBFCs and Cooperative Banking.

 

The Technoviti Awards 2019 will be held on 24 January, while the Finnoviti Awards 2019 will be on 25 January. A compendium of Technoviti nominees and winners and the Top 30 financial innovations by the BFSI sector will also be released at the conference.

 

Capgemini is the knowledge partner for the conference on “Hello Hybrid: – Innovations for the Experiential World”, while Ernst &Young is the knowledge partner for Technoviti Awards and NBFC Conclave and Deloitte for the Finnoviti Awards.

 

This year, the best of the fintechs would be introduced to the sector by the ecosystem partner Maharashtra Fintech of the Government of Maharashtra and facilitated by 7 key mentors, supported by the Invest India.org, an initiative of the Government of India.

 

As a measure of appreciation of the start-up movement in India, IBEX India 2019 will feature a start-up corner offering the Indian BFSI start-up community an opportunity to showcase promising innovations.

 

As in the past editions, IBEX India 2019 is designed to deliver unparalleled business opportunities and networking opportunities as well as an opportunity for banks to showcase their innovations.
