Amazon, the Indian e-commerce behemoth, has added the ability for RuPay credit card users to make EMI payments. According to the corporation, the decision was made to make purchasing more convenient and cheap for customers.

With EMI emerging as the most popular form of payment during the first 48 hours of the Great Indian Festival Sale, Amazon reports that one in every four orders was paid for in installments, and three out of every four consumers who paid with EMI selected the No Cost EMI option.

According to a press statement, this year's Great Indian Festival Sale saw the most customers ever in 48 hours, with about 9.5 crore visits. Shopping by Prime members increased 18 times in the first 24 hours, a record for the platform.

Rustomjee Seasons, BKC, offers 3 BHK apartments starting at 5.98 Cr*.

While 80 percent of Amazon buyers ordered from non-metro locations, more than 65 percent of merchants during the first two days were from tier 2 and tier 3 cities.

Amazon Pay, which debuted in 2019, offers a variety of payment alternatives, including Pay Later, Pay Wallet, and UPI, to mention a few. The e-commerce platform also provides incentives to new and returning clients.
