India is one of the top ten countries in the world to utilize solar power with full enthusiasm. The country has been making rapid strides towards alternative sources of energy like wind and solar and has set up an aggressive renewable energy installation target of 175 GW by 2022.India is one of the fastest growing economies in the world and rapid commer-cialization has led to an increased carbon footprint for the country. In order to make India more cleaner and greener, adopting alternative sources of power like wind and solar seems to be the only answer. According to a new report by Bridge to India, the country is set to march aggressively towards its solar target with expected installations of 14 GW in 2019. In order to achieve its goal, India has announced a set of policies promoting solar energy adoption in the country.

A solar project is a long term commitment by an end user who puts faith in the technology, the contractor, the financial model and the government. It certainly is not the core business of the end users and it demands good due diligence. Regardless of if you are paying for the solar plant or leasing it, the risks remain in terms of its performance and simulations matching the expectations in reality. This clearly a margin calls for consultants to give that assurance. We at Consultants Review magazine have put together a list of ‘Top 10 Solar Energy Consultants - 2021’. A carefully curated list, it flaunts consultants who resolved to leverage the most abundant source of energy to replenish its power reserves. I hope this feature helps you in your future endeavours and we achieve our mission.
