Today, while Bengaluru is currently ranked amongst the top in terms of being a startup hub, Hyderabad is giving a close competition to the city of startups.  With the formation of Telangana in June 2014, Hyderabad has been in the limelight, whether it due to its recognition as the capital of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, or due to the political conflicts that followed the partition. The city has demonstrated sincere efforts towards pushing itself back to the forefront and building a strong startup ecosystem.

From Amazon, Google to IKEA, Hyderabad has numerous brands and firms based out of the city. Governmentled startup policies to ensuring the ease of doing business and an ecosystem that promotes mentorship and development, Hyderabad has constantly been making all the right moves. Although reports suggest that Bengaluru is currently leading the startup race with huge margins, the city of Nizams is a strong challenger in the race. 

With PM Modi's `Make in India' project and the state government's efforts, Hyderabad's growth has increased by multifold with numerous companies being established in the city year on year.
